JOB TITLE: Sales Representative
iConnect is seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of iConnect team based in Ann Arbor. The ideal candidate will have:
- Familiarity with Value Added Network (VAN) services.
- Familiarity with managed EDI Services.
- Minimum of 3 years experience selling IT related product and/or services.
- 10% time required for travel
- Strong PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and internet research
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, such as client presentations and promotions, writing service agreements, database management.
- Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent account management experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand the company’s industry, business processes and service offerings. You will be responsible for selling iConnect's Value Added Network services, Cloud based EDI computing services as well as WEB-EDI services.
- Prospect and recruit new customers.
- Service existing customers and mine for new business in existing accounts.
- Work with Support and Implementation on customer problem solving.
- Develop and build relationships.
- Market the company’s services through cold calling, appointment scheduling and responding to bids, RFPs and RFQs.
- Keep track of sales activities including new clients, potential clients, current and past clients through iConnect’s sales tools.
- Communicate customer needs to service delivery and operations as required.
- Assist with collection of customer accounts as needed.
- Generate proposals to customers along with supporting documentation, promptly and accurately.
