Unlike traditional Value-Added-Network (VAN) services, iConnect's Data Transport Services (DTS) provides an organization with the ability to exchange ANY type of data with ANY Trading Partner, Portal or Exchange. By leveraging internet-based communication protocols and technologies, DTS provides subscribers the ability to exchange data with all their trading partners regardless of data format or method of delivery. To us, data is data and our support and pricing reflect that philosophy.

Some VAN providers charge for their service by identifying a number of caveats to distract from a clearly defined EDI traffic rate; largely to confuse the competitive bid process. Examples would be; "Prime vs Non-Prime" transmissions, set premiums for "Non-EDI" data transmissions, Public Network Interconnects, Private Network Surcharges, Delimiter Swapping, Carbon Copy routing and Web Services connectivity just to name a few.
