Noma Corporation and iConnect, Inc. announce support for OAGIS/AIAG BODs

March 29, 2005 - NOMA Corporation, an industry leader providing customers with fully integrated manufacturing capabilities of wire and wire-related components, today announces capability to exchange OAGIS/AIAG XML BODs and EDI throughout their extended trading community. Through an implementation of iConnect, Inc.'s iExchangeWeb, Noma has integration and automation of their backend Enterprise Resource Planning Systems with fully interoperable capabilities for exchanging EDI and OAGIS/AIAG BOD formats. It's a seamless move towards the future of electronic trading.

"Anyone that thinks xml is a replacement to EDI is not being realistic, certainly not in the short term. XML and EDI will have to co-exist. iExchangeWeb provides this coexistence to us seamlessly because internally it supports both formats equally. Providing a technology leap while maintaining the integration formats to my ERP applications", said Brian Kett, Director of Information Technology for Noma.

"We believe OAGIS/AIAG BOD technology is a very promising technology that can drive down the costs related to electronic transmissions significantly as it promises interoperability in addition to ease of use", says Kishor Sapre, CEO iConnect, Inc. "It's the first step towards true integration of business processes in an e-implementation."
